Matched Funding for Organisations - Advanced

Question and Answer webinar

Date: Wednesday 5th August 2026

Time: 12.45pm - 1.15pm AEST

The Capability Development team will host an online Q&A session designed to provide further clarity on the application process, eligibility requirements, and key aspects of both opportunities.

We encourage all interested applicants to attend to gain a deeper understanding of the two matched funding opportunities.

About the opportunities

Matched Funding for Organisations – Beginner supports small to medium arts and cultural organisations at an early stage of fundraising to build skills, systems and confidence over time.

This opportunity offers up to $25,000 in matched funding per year for two years, up to $50,000 total, on a dollar-for-dollar basis for eligible private sector income raised.

It is designed for organisations ready to move from informal or ad hoc fundraising activity to a more structured, consistent and sustainable approach.

Alongside matched funding, organisations take part in capability development activities including workshops, peer learning, cohort sessions, one-on-one support and leadership or governance-focused activities.

Participants will be supported to plan, deliver and embed fundraising practice across the organisation, including leadership and/or directors or Board, so fundraising can continue beyond the matched funding campaign.

Matched Funding for Organisations – Advanced supports small to medium arts and cultural organisations with established fundraising capability to strengthen, scale and sustain sophisticated private sector fundraising practice.

This opportunity offers up to $50,000 in matched funding per year for two years, up to $100,000 total, on a dollar-for-dollar basis for eligible private sector income raised.

It is designed for organisations with mature fundraising systems, strategic clarity and ambition to grow, diversify or transform their private sector income.

Alongside matched funding, organisations take part in tailored capability development including planning support, governance and organisation-wide fundraising workshops, peer learning, specialist advice and national cohort sessions.

Participants will be supported to deliver ambitious multi-year fundraising activity, deepen supporter relationships, and embed fundraising leadership and decision-making across the organisation for long-term sustainability.
