If you’re confused, stressed, or struggling to understand an issue about renting, this information session is for you. Caitlin Louth, a lawyer with the International Student Employment and Accommodation Legal Service, will discuss:

  • Understanding types of rental arrangements (student housing, private rentals, rooming houses and sub-tenancies)
  • Tips for entering into rental agreements, protecting your bond and other rights
  • Common issues: bond, repairs, ending rental agreements (lease break), eviction, rent increases
  • How to find further information and get help
