Quiet Sessions at Collingwood Toy Library - Abbotsford

Explore the toy library in a calm, welcoming environment.

Collingwood Toy Library is thrilled to offer bookable, low-sensory borrowing sessions designed to support children and families who may benefit from a quieter environment. No formal diagnosis required.

When and Where (starting 16 June 2025)

Book now for our Abbotsford branch – Wednesdays, 1:00pm–3:00pm.

Book separately for our Fitzroy branch – Mondays, 12:30pm–2:30pm. Scroll down to "More events from this host."

How it works

30-minute private sessions. The toy library will be closed to the general public during these sessions.

Children are free to vocalise, explore, and select toys at their own pace.

To take toys home, become a member on the day for $95 per year.

Have a specific need or request? Let us know in your booking notes.

Who is it for? These sessions are for any family who would benefit from a low-stress, sensory-considerate environment. All families are welcome.

Please note

These are borrowing-only sessions, not stay-and-play. If your child prefers to play in the space, one toy at a time may be explored and then returned to staff for cleaning if not borrowed.
