Our next event features Vivian Marlowe, a cabaret artist with 14 years in the performance art world, who has seamlessly jumped into the realm of visual art. Join us for a mesmerising performance, plus a life drawing session filled with poise and creative engagement. With one foot in each world, Vivian’s career has taken her from stage to studio, from Boorloo (Perth) to far-off travels, fueling her passion for art, sculpture, and exhibitions. Each creative domain enriches the other, inspiring her playful, socially engaged works that blend humour with the quirks of everyday life.

Lucky us—we’ll enjoy a crowd-favourite cabaret act and get an intimate look into Vivian's journey. She’ll share tales of her art, adventures, and the balancing act of two distinct yet interconnected worlds, all while posing in unique, inspiring positions. Don’t miss this night where performance and visual art collide in unforgettable ways!

Expect an inclusive, laid-back vibe with art supplies, tasty snacks, and a complimentary drink on arrival. All skill levels are welcome—no pressure to create a masterpiece; we’re here to celebrate wonderfully “shitty” art! Art is subjective, after all, so leave perfectionism at the door. Just maybe, what you consider “shitty,” we’ll consider amazing!

If you’re not comfortable being in any images, just let us know beforehand, and we’ll make sure you’re not included. Feel free to snap as many pics as you’d like, too—we just ask that you check with everyone in the shot to make sure they’re good with it.

• Low-Income Tickets: Limited discounted tickets are available for purchase; no proof is needed. Grab one while they’re available, but if you can, consider buying a full-price ticket.

We’re all about creating a safe and welcoming space, so please reach out to an event team member if you need anything during the event. If you’re unwell please stay home for the safety of other attendees, and we’ll transfer your ticket to the next session. 

We encourage Covid-safe practices—mask-wearing, testing beforehand, and using air purifiers in the space.

📍Venue Details: 

Enclave is a beautifully designed studio space that creates the perfect atmosphere for our events. Seating includes a mix of chairs and floor cushions with comfy mats, offering flexibility and comfort for everyone. If you’re able-bodied, we kindly ask that you leave chairs available for those who may need them most. Conveniently located close to public transport, Enclave also features accessible amenities and has street parking nearby, making it easy for everyone to join us.

If you’d like to make a donation alongside your ticket purchase, we’re incredibly grateful! After the event, we’ll also contribute to the charity as our small way of giving back to the community. Together, we’re making a positive impact—one event at a time.
