Susan Wheeldon, Airbnb Country Director - Australia, New Zealand & Oceania, ASX 200 NED

Susan Wheeldon has been Airbnb’s Country Director for Australia, New Zealand & Oceania since October 2019. Susan joined Airbnb from Google, where she spent four years leading a variety of teams, including Head of Government, Performance and Agencies. Passionate about the future of tech, she has more than 20 years of experience across the technology, e-commerce, legal, travel and property sectors.

Susan has held previous positions as Vice President of Groupon which was recognised by Forbes Magazine as 'the fastest growing company in history', Head of Brand & Retail at AMP Capital, which delivered more than $5 billion in revenue from the firm’s 38 retail assets in Australia and New Zealand and working with the Virgin Blue and Virgin Atlantic brands, after starting her career working with law firms in both Australia and the UK.

Susan holds a number of board positions, including Non-Executive Director of ASX-200 property group Centuria Capital and as an Advisor with startup venture capital fund No Brand.
