QUTAPS 5th Annual Asian Pop Showcase 🎉
Get ready for not one, but two incredible shows as QUT Asian Pop Society (QUTAPS) celebrates our 5th annual Asian Pop Showcase! This will feature both a matinee and evening performance packed with energy, creativity, and talent from Brisbane’s Asian Pop dance community.

This year’s showcase highlights the diverse and dynamic Asian pop dance community across Brisbane, featuring performances inspired by Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Filipino music and culture.

Inspired by RM from BTS’s “Intro: Persona” and ATEEZ’s “The Real”, this year’s theme celebrates self-discovery, authenticity, and connection. “Persona” asks, “Who am I?” - reflecting how each QUTAPS member has discovered part of their identity through Asian Pop Culture, dance, and creativity. “The Real” reminds us to embrace who we truly are with confidence and pride.

Through our shared love for Asian pop culture and dance, QUTAPS has become more than just a club - it’s a community where lasting friendships and meaningful connections have shaped our university experience. Together, “PERSONA: The Real QUTAPS” captures our journey of growth, individuality, and unity, as we show you our most genuine and passionate selves on stage.

QUT Asian Pop Society (QUTAPS) members and guest crews from universities and dance collectives across Brisbane.

Our matinee performance features the same incredible lineup of performers and choreography as the evening show, offering an exciting Asian Pop experience in a more family-friendly setting. This show is perfect for parents, young kids, or anyone who prefers a slightly quieter audience atmosphere while still enjoying all the energy on stage!
