R&T Revive and Thrive Series II - RMIT Cohort Runway
Event description
Melbourne’s Emerging Artists at PMFF25 Independent Programme: Revive and Thrive Runway Returns for Series II
The Revive and Thrive Runway is back for its highly anticipated Series II after a successful debut last year. As part of PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2025 (PMFF25), this independent runway will showcase innovative and sustainable designs by emerging artists from the RMIT cohort, alongside a special guest appearance by Cassie Leatham, an Indigenous artist renowned for her hand-woven garments.
The runway will push the boundaries of artistic expression, featuring not only fashion but also music curated by dynamic music producer Melbourne Music Vibe alongside emerging artists Sarahlighty and Kirrilee, to amplify the experience, blending fashion, art and music in an unforgettable immersive experience. Taking you on a journey through the cutting-edge techniques and materials, including 3D printing fabrication, hand painting, biomaterials, weaving, and advanced knit techniques, that showcase the future of fashion and sustainability.
Set in the stunning Fox Classic Car Museum—a heritage-listed warehouse once known as The Queen’s Warehouse—the event will be staged among some of the world’s rarest and most prestigious vehicles. The show will combine fashion, music, and choreography in an immersive experience like no other.
The Revive and Thrive Runway Series II is a true highlight of PMFF25, offering a platform for Melbourne’s up-and-coming artists to showcase their ground-breaking work.
