RA's 2024 Transforming Transport Summit is Australia’s premier industry-run conference and networking event for land transport.

On May 2 in Melbourne, the 2024 National Transport Summit will bring together Australia’s top officials and senior leaders of industry from across Australia and around the world to focus on ‘Transforming Transport’ into an integrated safe, sustainable, resilient and integrated system as it digitises and decarbonises.

This is your opportunity hear from leading industry thinkers and engage in solutions-focused conversations about critical challenges now confronting our industry, such as:

Productivity: How do we develop a high performing transport infrastructure sector?
Decarbonisation: How do we reduce the carbon cost of Australia's transport infrastructure sector?
Workforce: How can we use the productive potential of all Australians to deliver for transport customers?
Safety: What are the best practice safe workplaces and systems that accelerate zero harm?

The 2024 Transforming Transport Summit will be held in Melbourne on May 2 ahead of the annual John Shaw Dinner.

OUR SPEAKER

The Hon Catherine King MP

Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government and Federal Member for Ballarat

Following the 2022 Election, Catherine was sworn in as the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government – a portfolio that reaches into the heart of every community across the country.

Minister King will deliver a keynote address followed by a Q&A session. This is a rare opportunity to hear directly from the Minister less than a fortnight before the handing down of the Commonwealth Budget.

With the transport and infrastructure sectors undergoing significant reform, this is a chance not to be missed to hear about the ongoing priorities of the Australian Government in shaping a more sustainable and resilient future.
