RACI 51st Annual Synthesis Symposium
Description
The School of Chemistry, University of Melbourne in association with the RACI, invites you to its Annual Synthesis Symposium.
When: December 4th, 2026 from 08:30 to 18:30 (Melbourne Time)
Where: Bio21 Institute (30 Flemington Road, Parkville, VIC, 3052)
The lecture program starts at 8:50 am. Late registration from 8:30 am
Lunch will be provided, in addition to morning and afternoon tea and light refreshments at the conclusion of the symposium.

Plenary Lectures: International guest speakers include Professor Tobias Ritter (Max Planck Institut für Kohlenforschung, Mülheim an der Ruhr) and Professor Mark Rizzacasa (The University of Melbourne). Keynote Speakers include Professor Craig Hutton (The University of Melbourne), Professor Bill Hawkins (University of Otago), Dr. John Feutrill (SYNthesis Med Chem) and Dr. Sarah French (The University of Melbourne).
Poster Abstract Information
Participants are invited to make submissions for poster presentations on any aspect of organic chemistry.
Abstracts should be prepared on the Word document template (link) and emailed to synthesis.symposium@gmail.com.
Please save the document as 2026_ASS_<Surname>.doc.
Student Oral Talks are by invitation only.
