Life imitates art when a group of people are given free tickets to a mysterious horror movie. But when the spooks on screen start possessing members of the audience, it becomes a terrifying cinematic fight for survival. No, I’m not talking about the Rad, Bad or Mad movie club – this is the plot to our next movie, Italian giallo schlockmeister Dario Argento’s 1985 goopy monster mash, “DEMONS.”
Chaotic – inconsistent – coke-fueled – illogical - more perms than a Kath-n-Kim marathon and chockfull (unintended) laughs, a killer (literally) soundtrack from the likes of Motley Crue, Billy Idol and Claudio Simonetti (of Italian prog-rock band Goblin), Demons is a FRIGHTFULLY good time and the definition of a guilty pleasure.
