Led by our teaching master Dave Johnson in our indoor home at 160 Lichfield St. (every Thursday 6.30-9pm)

This 4-week course is for riders to build confidence in solving and fixing common bike problems. Learn basic bike maintenance through demonstrations, discussions and lots of practice.

Week 1: Intro - bike washing & relubing + basic tool usage & tightness + gear & brake usage explained

Week 2: Wheels - removal & refit + tube & tyre replacement + correct tyre pressure

Week 3: Brakes - testing, identifying problems & checking bolts + cleaning brake shoes / disc rotors + replacement discussed

Week 4: Gears & Chain - correct gear usage + chain cleaning, measuring, fixing, oiling + replacement discussed

Classes are kept small and supported by a talented RAD assistant, so everyone gets plenty of attention and hands-on learning.

Includes Attendance Certificate, Park Tools Manual available for purchase.
