Led by our teaching master Dave Johnson in our indoor home at 54 Hawdon St. (every Thursday 6.30-9pm)
This 4-week course is for people who want to start their journey towards becoming confident bike mechanics. Based on the ‘Park Tools School Curriculum’, this practical 'step by step' course covers basic mechanical skills and drive chain replacement.
Week 1: Intro to mechanics skills + appropriate tool use
Week 2: Cassettes cleaning, removal & replacement
Week 3: Chains cleaning, removal & replacement
Week 4: Gear cable replacement & tuning
Classes are kept small and supported by a talented RAD assistant, so everyone gets plenty of attention and hands-on learning.
Includes Attendance Certificate, Park Tools Manual highly recommended and available for purchase.
