Brennon Dowrick OAM, is one of Australia’s most successful male gymnasts and now an international in demand motivational speaker.

Brennon is also a Radford College Foundation Student, Class of 1989.

After competing at two Olympic Games, three Commonwealth Games and 7 Gymnastics World Championships and winning countless Gold medals for his country, Brennon knows a lot about setting and achieving goals. Spending 18 years on scholarship at the Australian Institute of Sport, Brennon discovered the importance of taking every opportunity presented to him to allow him to achieve his Olympic dream.

In addition to speaking Brennon was on the Board of Gymnastics Australia in charge of High Performance and has been awarded an OAM for his achievements and services to Australia.

Brennon developed an early passion for gymnastics, which would go on to shape his life in many ways. He began his journey in gymnastics at the age of five, and by the time he was 11, he was already competing at a national level. Brennon's incredible talent and hard work paid off, and he was selected to represent Australia at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, where he made history by becoming the youngest ever Australian gymnast to compete in the Olympics.

Brennon continued to achieve great things in the sport. He competed at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, where he made the all round finals. Brennon was Australia’s first ever Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist on the Pommel Horse in 1990 and repeated his Gold medal performance in 1994.

Brennon's success in gymnastics is a testament to his incredible talent, hard work, and dedication to the sport. However, his journey was not without its challenges. Brennon faced many obstacles along the way, including injuries, setbacks, and personal struggles. But he never gave up, and his perseverance and resilience allowed him to achieve his goals and reach the pinnacle of success in the sport of gymnastics.

Today, Brennon is a motivational speaker, sharing his story and inspiring others to pursue their dreams and overcome challenges. His message is one of resilience, perseverance, and determination. Brennon's incredible journey is a testament to the power of hard work, dedication, and a never-give-up attitude, and he continues to inspire people around the world to pursue their goals and live their best life.
