Join us for a special evening where Indian Classical Raga, Kirtan, Bhakti and live electronic music come together in an evolving journey of sound, rhythm and movement.

Beginning in the traditional world of Raga and Kirtan, Shivam Rath brings his unique blend of Crystal Slide, vocals, electronic Tabla and live looping, joined by special guest musicians.

As the evening unfolds, the music gradually transforms.

Acoustic instruments become loops.

Mantra becomes rhythm.

Raga meets bass.

Ancient musical traditions meet modern music production.

Starting with a traditional Raga and Kirtan experience, as we gradually open into a deeper rhythmic journey of Bhakti & Beats ~ inviting you to listen, chant, move, dance and experience the music in your own way.

The journey eventually returns to Resonance ~ bringing the room back towards mantra, voice and stillness.

An immersive opening of traditional Raga, Kirtan, mantra and live instrumentation.

The sounds begin to layer, loop and evolve as Raga, rhythm and electronic textures come together.

8:20pm ~ Bhakti & Beats

A live electronic Raga journey blending Crystal Slide, electronic Tabla, vocals, bass, beats and live production.

🌏 ABOUT SHIVAM RATH

Shivam Rath is an Indian Classical musician, producer and live looper whose unique Crystal Slide sound brings together Raga, Mantra, Rhythm and modern electronic music.

A second-generation musician, Shivam has spent more than a decade performing and teaching internationally, studying Indian Slide Guitar with Debashish Bhattacharya, Shakuhachi with Riley Lee and Tabla with Chota Lal Mishra.

His work explores the meeting point between ancient musical traditions and contemporary sound ~ from intimate Raga and Kirtan gatherings through to immersive electronic journeys and festival performances.

Rhythm ~ Raga ~ Resonance is an evolving musical project exploring the space between tradition, technology, devotion and movement.

Paid parking is available in the public car park at Acacia Place and across Victoria Street at Victoria Gardens. Free parking is available around Harrison Court and surrounding streets.

The Open Space is located on the lower ground level of Acacia Place.

♿ Accessibility: If arriving via the paid parking station at Acacia Place, you can access the studio directly on the same level. A lift is also available from Victoria Street.
