Art Appreciation in the Gallery ~ An Interactive Tour Workshop
Join Rain White an experienced Art Educator and Artist in the Burrinja Gallery during the Open Studios Glimpse Exhibition for a brief and fun introduction to how to Analyse an Artwork. You will tour the exhibition examining key artworks to deepen your confidence and appreciation of looking at artworks through the lens of observation, description, interpretation, design, and composition, and making informed judgments and evaluations. An opportunity for sketching will be included as well as a take-home worksheet you can refer to to enhance your enjoyment and appreciation of art in all contexts in the future.
