Join Rainbow Labour Wellington for a screening of The Critic starring our own queer sometime Wellington-resident icon of the silver screen, Sir Ian Mckellan.  It's 1934 and Jimmy Erskine is a powerful and acerbic London theatre critic. Abandoned after being arrested for homosexuality Erskine plots his revenge - with deadly consequences.The Critic is based on the 2015 novel Curtain Call by Anthony Quinn.  Seating is unallocated, so come with friends or make new ones at the Lovely Lighthouse cinema in Te Aro.
