Reimagine Parramatta Park in a Rainbow of Light this World Pride
We invite you to a free one-hour public light experience using 100 individual lights of various colours. You will help to create magnificent luminous tunnels, stunningly bright ribbons and spectacular balls (ORBS) of light under the direction of master light painter Peter Solness. As part of a public art experience, you will be immersed in the atmospherics of a large-scale, fluid light event.
Come and learn the effects of long exposure photography and how it can create other-worldly renditions. You will understand how the camera can record images that are not seen by the naked eye.
Everyone will get the chance to create unique images for sharing on social media
Technical Notes: Participating photographers will require modern Digital Cameras that have Manual settings for focusing, exposure and for creating 30 second-long shutter speeds. (Smart phone cameras are not suitable for this project) You will also require a stable tripod to keep your camera steady.

Please arrive 5-10minutes early at the Gatehouse so we can direct you to the right location!

7.00pm Briefing Light Spinners
7.30pm Spectators on site
8.00pm Light Spinners in position
8.15pm Light Installation starts
Meeting Point/Venue: George Street Gatehouse (we will walk from there to the project spaces)

What you need:
- closed toed shoes
- water bottle and snacks
- torch for the way back to the car
