We're bringing PRIDE to Gladstone in a way it's never seen before and YOU are invited! Join us from 10 - 12 June for the inaugural Rainbow on the Reef's PRIDE Festival 2022 - you'll be glad you did!

The Festival will be a fun-filled three-day celebration, our program will work to cultivate a culture of pride in identity and diversity that creates the conditions to empower the LGBTQIA+ community in the Gladstone Region and beyond!

Join us at Gladstone's home of cinema entertainment for the launch of the Rainbow on the Reef PRIDE 2022 Festival. This fabulous night out will include a screening of an award-winning Australian Short Film 'Sparkles' followed by the crowd favorite 'The Adventures of Priscilla Queen of the Desert'. Meet the Makers of 'Sparkles' - a short film from Rush Films about a 30-something-year-old Down Syndrome woman who leaves her past behind by running away from a small country town towards the city. Along her journey, she strikes up an unlikely friendship with an outback drag queen, teaching us to not be afraid to celebrate who we are. We are thrilled to be joined by writer, Tina Fielding for the Gladstone Premiere.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert is rated M15.
