Rainbows Within (Youthful Creatives)

Embark on a colourful exploration of the chakra system with our Rainbows Within: Art and Affirmations workshop. This vibrant experience invites participants of all ages to delve into the symbolism of rainbows and the energy centres of the body known as chakras. Through engaging art activities, empowering affirmations, and sharing insights, together we'll unlock our creativity while learning about the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.

Rainbow Art Exploration We will begin our journey by exploring the symbolism of rainbows through various art mediums. From painting to collage, we'll express the vibrant spectrum of colours and the emotions they evoke. This hands-on activity encourages creativity and self-expression while laying the foundation for understanding the chakra system.

Chakra Ribbon Rainbows Next, we'll dive into the world of the chakras as we create their own ribbon rainbows. Each ribbon will represent one of the seven chakras, allowing us to visually connect with the energy centres of our body. As we assemble our rainbow creations, we'll learn about the unique qualities and affirmations associated with each chakra.

Affirmation Framing To finish up the workshop, we will select affirmations aligned with each chakra and frame our favourite art piece. This final activity empowers individuals to embrace positive affirmations that resonate with their personal journey and promotes a sense of self-awareness and empowerment.

*Please arrive by 12:25 to allow settling time

*Suitable for all ages (5+ independently, under 5's with guardian) 

*NO art experience necessary

*2-4 year olds very welcome with a (complimentary) guardian to support their creation experience. 

If you'd also like to join in alongside your child (any age) and create your own set too you are so welcome (we've had many adults join in and this is such fun for all ages). We absolutely encourage the magic of connecting with your playful inner child in this way (so good for your mind & soul)!

Grab a coffee and indulge in a bit of your own self-care time to fill your cup while we look after your littles (age 6+) during the workshop. Becki is a registered and experienced primary school teacher who is very confident nurturing, and being responsible for, young children so you can relax and recharge at peace :)
