Rainforest Tree ID Workshop with Marc Russell

Price $60 – $66 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

ABOUT THE EVENT:

Join host Marc Russell and Mooloolah River Landcare for a Rainforest Identification Workshop Day.  The legendary Bill McDonald will be joining us for the day - so don't miss the opportunity to come and learn from some of best in the industry!

Have you ever wanted to be able to identify different rainforest trees and shrubs but didn't know where to start?  This event is designed to give you all the tips and tricks to be able to ID our local native rainforest plants.

We will start the day with an information session at the MRL Community Hub - we recommend you purchase a copy of 'Rainforest Trees and Shrubs - a field guide to their identification' by Gwen Harden, Bill McDonald & John Williams.  See our nursery staff on arrival to purchase a copy - prices are $45 for members, $50 for non members.  Or, please bring along a copy of the book if you have one.

Marc will then take you on a 'walk and talk' out the back, into the rainforest behind MRL where you can get familiar with rainforest species in their natural habitat.

Light refreshments and lunch provided.
