Rainforest Walk at Tarwin River Forest
Event description
Join Tarwin Landcare Group on a rainforest journey to the very start of the Tarwin River.
Stuart and Victoria will host us on their property for a relaxed walk and talk down to a ‘Wonderland’ where you can be amongst the Cool Temperate Rainforest and meet ‘Slim’ the first Slender Tree-fern (Cyathea cunninghamii) was identified here. As well as over 700 other species of flora and fauna.
We will also learn about Victoria and Stuarts inspiring conservation journey and their fight to protect endangered species on their property and beyond.

Please note this is quite a steep walk and requires moderate fitness.
Parking is limited. Car pooling may be required or we may park off site at camp rumbug. Keep an eye on your emails for more info.
