Rainworth Long Lunch returns for 2023!

Rainworth Long Lunch is a luxurious long lunch held outdoors in the leafy green surrounds of Rainworth State School.

It’s a 12:30pm start, so block out your entire afternoon (and your evening, if you dare)!

Cost: Group tickets are $850 per table of 10 (plus a booking fee, which goes to support children's charities).

Single tickets are $85 (plus a booking fee)

Double tickets are $170 (for 2 adults, plus a booking fee)

TICKETS

The Rainworth Long Lunch is set up in tables of 10. Each table for 10 people is stylishly set up with linen, cutlery, crockery, polycarbonate glassware and decorations.

This year the Rainworth Long Lunch is delighted to offer additional ticketing options for singles and pairs wanting to attend the event in addition to our popular group booking option (you know we'd hate for anyone to miss out!). Choose from the following ticketing options:

1. Group tickets. This is our more familiar ticketing option. Organise a group of 10 friends and grab yourselves a table. Tickets are $850 per table of 10, plus a booking fee, which goes to help children's charities.

2. Single tickets. These tickets cost $85 per person (plus booking fee) and are perfect for if you are keen to get to know others in the Rainworth community, but just don't know a lot of people yet. People who purchase single tickets will be put into a group of 10 on a fun, social table where you will not only get to meet new people, but may make some great new friends! Don't worry, we've got you!

3. Double tickets. These tickets cost $170 for two people (plus booking fee). Like our single tickets, these tickets are perfect for groups of two people who may not know a lot of other people in the Rainworth school community, but who would still love to be part of the Rainworth Long Lunch. Like the singles tickets, people who purchase a double ticket will be put onto a fun group table with other single or double ticket holders, where we hope you will meet some great new people. 

Please feel free to also gather people from outside the Rainworth school community to be part of your table. Whilst this is an ADULTS ONLY event, it is NOT limited to parents of children at Rainworth State School.

FOOD

There are two key food options for the Rainworth Long Lunch:

1. Bring your own food.

2. Select from one of our delicious catering options. This year our catering is being handled by Naim and Togninis. Details about our catering options will be sent directly to table captains and to individual and double ticket holders. For those on a group table, please get together with your table groups to decide which of these great options will best suit your needs. Individual and double ticket holders will need to select from the individual catering options. Catering orders can be placed from August 1 to August 11. Booking fees apply to all orders and go to support children's charities. Please note that there is no table service this year and catering will be ready to be collected from the catering tents (located near the entrance) from 1pm onwards.

Food vans will also be available at the event from 5pm to stave off any post-lunch hunger pangs.

DRINKS

Drinks at the event can be paid for in one of two ways. 

1. Pre-purchase a table Starter Pack. We will be offering a number of different starter packs at different price points to cater to all tastes and budgets. These carefully curated Starter Packs will be ready and chilling on ice when you arrive at your table at the start of the Rainworth Long Lunch. Please note that only one Starter Pack can be purchased per table, so be sure to get together with your group and work out which pack works the best for you! Table captains will be sent a detailed list of what's in each of the available packs to help you decide. Packs include: The Platinum Drinks Starter Pack, the Gold Drinks Starter Pack, the Silver Drinks Starter Pack, the Bronze Drinks Starter Pack, the Wine Starter Pack and the Beer Starter Pack. Please note that tickets for pre-purchased Starter Packs go on sale on August 1 and end on August 11. Booking fees apply to all orders and go to support children's charities.

2. Buy drinks from the bar on the day. Once your table has used up its Starter Pack, it's time to head to the bar and order from their extensive menu. If you want to keep drinking more of what you ordered in your Starter Pack, then that's no problem, we've got you covered at the bar with those same options by the glass or can. If you're up for a little variety, then there are more options, including a curated cocktail list as well as Prosecco, chardonnay and some non-alcoholic options.

Please note that there are strictly NO BYO drinks permitted at this event.

ENTERTAINMENT

There will be live entertainment throughout the event. A live band will play throughout the afternoon and into the evening. You'll also have a chance to win some fantastic raffle prizes.

PURPOSE

This event is a major fundraising event for Rainworth State School and all profits will go towards educational programs at the school.

REFUNDS

Please note that refunds are only available up to 30 days prior to the event. Refunds will only be available for the price of the tickets purchased but do not include the cost of the associated booking fees. The booking fees go to the ticketing organisation to support children's charities and are not refundable.
