Knox Triple N Girl Guides (aged 14 to 17years) are hosting an Afternoon tea to support their upcoming interstate camp and the Isabella and Marcus Foundation. The event will include afternoon tea, Guest speakers, raffle and silent auction.
Girl Guides Victoria is part of a global organization dedicated to empowering girls and young women to grow into confident, community-minded individuals. We provide support in an all-female, non-formal educational setting, prioritizing activities led by girls themselves. Our worldwide movement focuses on personal development, leadership training, outdoor adventures, community service, and skill-building. We uphold values like leadership, self-reliance, inclusivity, and service to others. Members engage in diverse activities, from camping and hiking to crafts, practical skill learning, and community projects.
The Isabella and Marcus Foundation tirelessly raises crucial funds and awareness to advance research into Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG), a devastating form of brain cancer afflicting children. Regrettably, there is currently no known cure for DIPG, and tragically, most children succumb to it within a year of diagnosis.
