A sunset-to-night Forró experience rooted in Brazilian music, dance and community. 🇧🇷

Forró do Zé is the first RAIZ SESSION, bringing the sounds, movement and spirit of Forró Pé de Serra to Brisbane's Northside.

Come early for a relaxed afternoon by the water, live acoustic music and a beautiful Brisbane sunset. As the evening unfolds, the dance floor comes alive for a night of Forró, DJs, rhythm and connection.

We're excited to welcome Marina & Diego for a special live acoustic performance, opening FORRÓ DO ZÉ — the first event by Raiz Collective AU. 🎸🪗

Enjoy an hour of Brazilian music, warm melodies and sunset vibes by the water. 🎶🌅

🪗 FORRÓ PÉ DE SERRA

Expect the classic sounds and rhythms of Forró. Two DJs will keep the music flowing with non-stop Forró made for dancing, connecting and moving together.

💃 THE DANCE FLOOR

As the evening gets going, the dance floor comes alive, with Forró flowing until 11 PM.

Whether you're already a Forró dancer or you've never danced Forró before, you're welcome. No experience necessary — just come with an open mind and ready to move.

We'd like to share an important update regarding entry to Forró do Zé.

You are welcome to join us for free outdoor live music from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, featuring Marina & Diego.

If you'd like to stay and enjoy the Forró DJ session, entry is $20 at the door.

Unfortunately, free community entry to the DJ session is no longer available.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or confusion this change may cause. We're working hard to deliver the best possible event experience for everyone and appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support as we bring our first Raiz Session to life.
