The Rakaia Gorge Cocktail Party is here! Saturday 26 September 2026, Terrace Downs

You'll need to move faster than a gale nor'west on this one, there's neither the time nor tickets to dilly-dally - an evening of high-altitude glamour and top-shelf drinks awaits!

Tickets $65 per person - includes bubbles on arrival and a complimentary cocktail, finger food snacks and outstanding company

Dress for High Country Glamour

Blokes - a blazer & tie with your fanciest strides or suit would be ideal (now's the time to dust off Grandad's 1,000 acre jacket, don the kilt & sport the tweed, gentlemen)

Ladies - roll out the high heels ladies! This is a night of glamour however you see fit; dresses short or long, cocktail trou, sequins, pearls, furs - you do you!

Format for the evening:

7pm - 9.30pm Champagne & Cocktails

9pm - Finger food served

9.30pm - Live band duo 'Assembly Required'

12.30pm Closing

• this is not a fundraiser, nor is it even vaguely professional - it's a break-even, volunteer-run, invitation-based party! Your consideration & good cheer is appreciated

• this event will be in the restaurant side of Terrace Downs (not the whole Clubhouse) prepare for some serious volume from 9.30pm

• cocktail selection has been refined for your evening ease - actually down to just two.... but a jolly good two! Classic Margarita & Espresso Martini, you're welcome

• Bonus free drinks for any blokes who come in a kilt, extra bonus if bagpipes accompany
