    Event description

To celebrate International Permaculture Day on May 5th 2024, come and visit this Rammed Earth 60m2 Tiny House at Tallwoods Village. Megan Cooke the owner builder will talk about how she designed and built her home using Peraculture Ethics, Earth Care, People Care and Fair Share. The trials and tribulations of building in a climate of rising building costs and the benefits in her life of going tiny.

A solar passive design with an outdoor entertaining north facing patio to capture the winter sun. Inside you'll see a commercial kitchen with stainless steel bench tops, a polished concrete floor with underfloor heating decorated with beach stones and shells. A gorgeous hardwood framed triangle window for star gazing at night and a spacious bathroom featuring a stone basin, local Blackbutt timber and louvre windows to dry the dishes whilst you're out enjoying the nearby beach!

*All children must be closely supervised by a carer at all times due to long grass, and no fencing.
