Description
We will begin our time exploring and collecting natural fibre.
We will discuss:
what fibres are suitable
where fibre can be found
how to manage fibre for random weaving
Take a break for lunch, then start a random weave basket
learn different techniques to start the base
how to shape the basket
how to finish
All participants need to wear sturdy shoes and bring gloves and secateurs.
Workshops are held in Alegria's Farm Cottage. Participants bring their own lunch, with tea, coffee and light refreshments provided.
