Event description
Join rangers on a guided birdwatching tour at Stamford Hill in Lincoln National Park. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through vegetation/along the walking trail where local rangers will assist spotting birds and identifying their calls. Learn more about all the National Park and all the birds that call it home.
*Vehicle entry to the park is free for registered attendees. You will however need to provide your vehicle registration plate number when completing checkout.
Accessibility
This activity will involve walking on walking trails that maybe uneven. It is not recommended for wheelchair users or people with limited mobility.
Who is this event for
The event is suitable for adults and children ages 8 and upwards.
Meeting Point
Lincoln National Park - Stamford Hill Day Visitor Area Carpark
*Please allow 35 minutes to travel to Stamford Hill if you are travelling from Port Lincoln.
What to Bring:
- shoes suitable for walking
- sun protection
- insect repellent
- drinking water (1 litre minimum)
- snacks
- binoculars
- notebook and pen to record bird species
