Travel instructions

Hanson bay is accessible by car. Turn onto Hanson Bay Road from South Coast Road and follow to the end. Parking is available by the river mouth. Hanson Bay Road is unsealed.

Entry instructions

Vehicle entry to the park is free for people registered to attend Park of the Month Events. You must provide your vehicle registration plate number when completing checkout.

Hazards

Please refer to event description for accessibility and hazard information. Events on beaches are generally accessed by stairs or over rocks. The boat crossing may require stepping on some wet and slippery surfaces and there is little to no shade or shelter.

Long-drop toilets are available at the Hanson Bay boat ramp council car park
