Ranger Guided Walk: Estuary to Coast
Event description
Join our Rangers for an unforgettable adventure as we explore where South West River meets the sea at Hanson Bay. Discover the vital role of estuarine ecosystems during an insightful talk, followed by a leisurely trek along a scenic trail leading to the river. Experience a unique boat crossing before continuing your journey along the river and through the dunes towards the coast.
Engage with our Rangers along the way, who will share their knowledge on a range of fascinating topics, including beach nesting and migratory birds, marine parks, beach pollution, native plant species, and the incredible migration of whales.
