The UTS IMPACCT Rapid Program is an international collaboration of clinicians with a common goal to improve the evidence for commonly used medications and interventions in palliative care and cancer symptom management.

This online workshop will showcase a range of past Rapid series through five-minute quick-fire presentations, highlighting the interventions and the results as well as what happens next as a result of each series.

Each Rapid series collects information about interventions commonly used in palliative care and cancer symptom management including:

the therapeutic benefit of medications and non-pharmacological interventions
the net clinical response (harms and benefits) of medications and non-pharmacological interventions
any significant drug/drug, drug/host interactions of medications and non-pharmacological interventions.

The Rapid Program:

uses minimal resources
is timely
involves clinicians from around the globe
publishes each series to improve the knowledge base for clinical decision making
focuses on interventions that are commonplace in palliative care and cancer care

Workshop attendees are required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Current PaCCSC and CST members may already have one in place. We will contact you if you need to sign a confidentiality agreement.
