Raranga Workshop with Rewa Grimsdale (16+)

Come along to this special event where skilled kaiako, Rewa Grimsdale, will be teaching the community about the tikanga and mātauranga of raranga (harakeke weaving). Rewa has partnered with us, at Glen Eden Library, to host this event during our Matariki celebrations, and we are excited to have her in our space, gifting us with this knowledge. Keep an eye out on our friends at Arataki Visitor Centre's Facebook page, as they will be hosting a similar event with Rewa in July!! If you are not able to make this one, keep an eye out for registrations for Arataki's event.

Please note this event is best suited for people over the age of 14, and is designed for adults, teens and rangatahi. All ages are invited to participate however parents or guardians must be fully engaged in activities with their tamariki (under 14). Unsupervised children will be asked to leave the event if parents are not present.
