This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

‘How do people care about plants if they don't know about them?’

Did you know that 1 in 4 South Australian plants has a state listing under schedule: rare/vulnerable/threatened? Get to know one of South Australia’s most vulnerable plants by drawing it.

Join visual artist Louise Flaherty in a creative workshop opportunity to experience a deeper understanding of threatened native South Australian plants. Explore individual plants through drawing/painting, and research. The workshop will involve an introduction to some of South Australia’s most vulnerable plants, and producing a postcard of one of those plants to share the knowledge of this plant with a friend. You will also have your own drawings made from the workshop to take home.
