Venue: Rathdowney Private Property

106 Mt Lindsay Hwy, Gleneagle

If coming from Brisbane, turn left immediately after the information centre / showgrounds at the sign for 'Rathdowney House'. Follow the driveway up, turn left at the hay shed and park in the large field next to the cattle yards.

Time: Sign On – 8:30am - Ride Out - 9.00am

Duration: 3-4 hrs, Moderate half day ride.

Food: BYO Morning Tea and own drinking water for the trail. We'll enjoy a pub lunch at the Rathy Pub afterward. (Pub lunch is to be purchased by you)

Bring Own: Halter & Lead Rope to tie up on the trail. Horse water is available but bring your own bucket. Shared yards are available, but consider bringing your own electric yard if you prefer.

Terrain: The trail has minimal shade and can be steep and rocky in parts, so boots or shoes are recommended.

Parking: Ample parking available.

Ribbons: Green- New, nervous or unsure horses

Red - Kickers, or may kick

Ride Fees: Red Rivers Members - No Charge, Athra Affiliated Members - $5.00, Day Members $5.00

This ride is an ATHRA club members ride only.

ALL ATTENDEES MUST BOOK VIA Humanitix (No book, no ride)

ATHRA recommends the following;

∙ Riders under 18 must wear an approved helmet

∙ It is recommended that riders wear full length trousers and sleeved shirts. Suitable smooth soled riding footwear

∙ Saddlebag for food / water

∙ No dogs on ride
