Come and Join us for our last ride of the year, PUb Lunch.
Date: Saturday 21/10/2023
Time: Sign On – 8:30am - Ride Out - 9.00am
Duration: 4 hrs, Moderate half day ride.
Food: BYO Morning Tea, & human drinking water for morning tea on the trail. Join us after the ride for a Pub lunch at the Rathdowney Hotel. The menu for The Rathy Pub can be found on their facebook page Click Here
Bring Own: Halter & Lead Rope to tie up on the trail. There is horse water available, bring your own bucket. There are yards available but we will need to share, you may want to bring your own electric yards for while we are away at lunch.
Terrain: There is minimal shade. It can be steep and rocky in parts so boots or shoes are recommended.
Parking: Good Parking. Turn left (if coming from Brisbane) at the driveway immediately after the information centre/showgrounds. There is an electric gate and a large sign that says ‘Rathdowney House’. Come through the gate and up the driveway, turn left at the hay shed, go past the hay shed and the gate will be directly in front of you. Park in the large field next to the cattle yards.
Ribbons: Green- New, nervous or unsure horses
Red - Kickers, or may kick
Ride Fees: Red Rivers Members - No Charge, Athra Affiliated Members - $5.00
This ride is an ATHRA club members ride only.

: - recommends the following.
- Riders under 18 must wear an approved helmet
- It is recommended that riders wear full length trousers and sleeved shirts. Suitable smooth soled riding footwear
- Saddlebag for food / water
- No dogs on ride
