Aunty Sue Coleman Haseldine - elder of the Kokatha people and the honorary co-president of the Australian Nuclear Free Alliance (ANFA).
ANFA is the First Nations led alliance that helped to build the successful campaign to stop the Jabiluka uranium mine in the Northern Territory, and more recently, the proposed national nuclear waste dumps in South Australia and Muckaty in the NT.
Aunty Sue is a mother, grandmother and a great grandmother. She is also a survivor of the Emu Fields atomic bomb testing of 1953.
Aunty Sue's traditional lands, the Kakotha, extend over some 140,000 km2 and include Tarcoola, Kingoonyah, Pimba and the McDouall Peak as well as modern townships of Roxby Downs and Woomera. The lands extend west as far as Ooldea and the Ooldea Range while the northern frontier runs up to the Stuart Range and Lake Phillipson. The Kakotha boundary is with Barngarla lands, where the Federal government currently propose to establish a nuclear waste facility at Kimba.

Linsey Cottrell - Environmental Policy Officer at the Conflict and Environment Observatory (CEOBS) - a UK-based charity working to increase the protection of people and ecosystems from the impact of armed conflicts. She is a Chartered Environmentalist and qualified as a Specialist in Land Condition. Her role includes working with partners to help improve environmental safeguarding across humanitarian disarmament programmes and has been working on military greenhouse gas emissions. Before joining CEOBS, Linsey worked in the environmental consultancy sector for more than 20 years and has a diverse range of experience in environmental risk assessment and compliance auditing. Since 2016, Linsey has also been a trustee for the Institution of Environmental Sciences, which promotes the role of environmental sciences and sustainable development.
