Roll out the red carpet, pour the champagne, and prepare to behave like you have a Grammy, an Oscar, and a very complicated relationship with your publicist.

Join us Sunday, November 8 at The Brass Kraken for Sing-A-Long Brunch: Divas Edition, another fabulously interactive brunch experience from the beautifully chaotic minds behind Resting Brunch Face.

This month, we’re celebrating the voices, the legends, the icons, the fashion, the drama, and the women who taught generations of us that sometimes the only appropriate response to life’s problems is a dramatic key change.

We’re talking Whitney. Mariah. Beyoncé. Cher. Celine. Madonna. Gaga. Tina. Aretha. Diana. Britney. Christina. Adele. Dolly. Barbra. Patti. Chappell. And every other magnificent creature who has ever grabbed a microphone and made the world stop listening to itself for three minutes.

The assignment?

RED CARPET. FANCY. FABULOUS.

Sequins. Satin. Velvet. Feathers. Rhinestones. Evening gowns. Tuxedos. Opera gloves. Statement jewelry. That outfit you’ve been saving for an occasion that never seems to arrive.

Well, darling, the occasion has arrived.

And no, you do not need to spend a fortune. Some of the greatest fashion moments in history were held together with safety pins, double-sided tape, and delusion.

We respect the craft.

THIS IS NOT A SHOW WHERE YOU SIT QUIETLY.

This is a room full of people attempting Mariah’s whistle notes, demanding RESPECT from complete strangers, pointing dramatically across the table during “Since U Been Gone,” and discovering that the person sitting next to them has also been waiting their entire adult life to scream “AND IIIIIIIIIIIIIII” in public.

Expect the kind of collective emotional release that only happens when 100 people realize they all know the words to the same breakup song.

One minute we’re dancing to Beyoncé.

The next we’re crying with Adele.

Then somebody requests “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and suddenly we’re all in a music video involving wind machines, emotional damage, and questionable lighting.

10:00 AM | Doors Open

The paparazzi are imaginary, but your entrance shouldn’t be. Grab brunch, order a cocktail, admire everyone’s outfits, and settle into your main-character moment.

11:00 AM | Sing-A-Long Brunch Begins

The microphones are metaphorically yours. The legends are waiting.

12:30 PM | Red Carpet Diva Contest

Bring the glamour. Bring the attitude. Bring the look that makes someone across the room whisper, “Who IS she?”

We’re celebrating creativity, confidence, fabulous fashion, and the ability to make an entrance.

IMPORTANT: Our previous brunches have filled up quickly, with seating nearly full by 11 AM.

The Brass Kraken opens at 10 AM. Arrive early or reserve your table in advance so you’re not standing outside like a celebrity who didn’t make the guest list.

First come, first served seating.

Every diva deserves an audience, but not every diva is guaranteed a chair.

Reserve a table for up to four guests.
