Mark Krawczynski speaks to us about the Ukraine
Helping the millions of Ukrainian refugees (mainly women and children) who escaped to Poland over the last 2 years as well as all the millions of other Ukrainians who have stayed behind to defend their homes, has been an enormous but very necessary effort for all Rotarians in Poland.
I have been on a humanitarian mission in Poland to help Ukraine. I was a member of the organising committee for RC Warszawa City. This is one of the strongest clubs in Poland. We fulfil our goals also with the help of Rotary Clubs from many other countries. Our many projects are illustrated in the set of slides which I will be personally presenting in your Club on April 26th this year. By the time I arrive in Australia we will have prepared a more complete 10 minute video which I may also be able to present from my pendrive if time permits.
Our Club Breakfast venue is moored at the King St Wharf in front of Bungalow 8, Lime St, which is a 7 minute walk through the pedestrian walkway from Wynyard station. Please note we don't leave the wharf.
