Registrations are now open for Chairs, Deputy Chairs and Regional Directors/Executive Officers to attend the RDA National Forum 2023 to be held in Toowoomba, Queensland on Friday 28 July 2023.

The theme of this year’s forum is New directions for regional growth.

A formal dinner will be held 6pm Thursday 27 July 2023 within the Toowoomba CBD. The Hon. Kristy McBain MP, Minister for Regional Development, Local Government and Territories will be speaking at the dinner and will officially open the event.

The RDA National Forum and dinner provides RDAs with the opportunity to come together to network, collaborate and learn from each other, and hear from high profile keynote speakers and government stakeholders.

At this stage the Forum agenda starts with registrations from 8am on the Friday with sessions to commence 8:30am and finishing at approximately 4.30pm.

The Department have engaged the SEGRA Foundation to assist with the bookings and logistics of the Forum including managing all accommodation bookings. As part of the ticket purchase process there will be options to identify what your accommodation and event transfer requirements are within Toowoomba.

The Department will cover the costs for accommodation for 27-28 July 2023 which will be coordinated by the SEGRA Foundation. Delegates can nominate which nights will be needed as part of the online booking process. Any additional nights will need to be organised by RDAs and will be at their own expense.
