Re-invent the Work of Modigliani - Part 1
Event description
March 15, 22 & 29, Modern Master - Modigliani from the School of Paris
Join Kent McCormack in an engaging exploration of modern masters’ works, designed to enhance your painting skills and deepen your appreciation for their techniques. In previous workshops, participants have been exposed to the works of modern masters to better understand their methods—an exercise highly beneficial for artists of all levels.
This series of workshops, however, takes an exciting new direction. Rather than simply replicating the originals, you'll be challenged to reinvent the pieces, tailoring them to your unique style and imagination. Who knows—you might even improve on the original!
Workshops will be held weekly throughout March and April, offering you the flexibility to join as your schedule permits. Every two to three weeks, you'll choose from two works by modern masters to tackle. You may focus on one or explore both if attending multiple sessions.
With Kent’s personalised guidance, tailored to your individual pace and skill level, you’ll enjoy a supportive, creative, and friendly environment. These workshops are ideal for beginners, intermediate painters, or anyone looking to hone their composition and painting skills.
Choose your preferred medium—oil or acrylic—and come prepared with your painting gear, sketchbook, and drawing materials, all of which are mandatory. Easels, tables, and chairs will be provided.
Let your creativity flourish!
