Re-Roll For It
Description
Re-Roll For It
(AKA Roll For It 2 / Roll For It 2026)
Another big day of tabletop gaming at Freo Town Hall
Once again, we begin the great summoning
Once again, it is time to cast aside your phone, leave the doom un-scrolled, and get face-to-face with hundreds of other tabletop gaming nerds who are as objectively cool as you are.
The dice, the cards, the minis that take six months to paint — these are the tools with which we tell our shared stories. Stories of spectacular victory, crushing defeat, and total buffoonery. Stories in which lifelong friendships are forged.
But life is hectic, and it can sometimes feel impossible to get even a small group together to roll dice and slap cards. That’s why we made Tabletop Freo. And that’s why we’re working so hard to make Re-Roll For It as big and fun as possible.
More than anything, Re-Roll For It is a celebration of tabletop gaming culture — for the dice-curious and for-lifers alike.
It's a celebration of you, dear friend. Whatever your game, whatever your story, the day is for you.

So what’s actually happening?
Basically, rock up at Freo Town Hall between 9 AM and 5 PM on Saturday the 13th of June to play some tabletop games.
Mercifully, we have chosen to do this a little later in the year, so we aren't cooked alive in a 140-year-old building.
The setup will be pretty loosey-goosey, but basically, we'll divide the space into 5 main gaming zones:
🎲 THE BOARD GAME AND PUZZLE ZONE 🎲
We'll have 8 volunteers running a variety of board games throughout the day. Just look for a game that seems cool, introduce yourself, and start playing!
We will also be collaborating with interschoolpuzzleclub.com for some fun puzzle-related activities, including speed puzzling!
What you need to bring:
Nothing. But feel free to bring your favourite board game in case there’s a free table and you want to play it.
:・゚✧:・゚
🧙 THE MTG ZONE🧙
People will be playing Magic: The Gathering casually all day, and we'll have 8 volunteers around to teach you if you haven’t played before.
What you need to bring:
For casual play, if you’re an experienced player, bring your decks; we expect there'll be lots of Commander.
For the newbies, we have everything you need.
✧.*
There will also be a Secrets of Strixhaven draft between 10 am and 3 pm, a non-foil Secrets of Strixhaven Mystical Archive Force of Will going to the winner! (Massive thanks to Sinjin for donating this amazing prize.)
This is a paid add-on. When you go to select your ticket, make sure you select "MTG Secrets of Strixhaven draft."
The gist of the Strixhaven draft:
9 am to 10 am: Roll into the town hall to settle in and meet some fellow nerds
10 am to 11 am: Receive 3 packs of Strixhaven play boosters, crack 'em, and build a deck
11 am to 3 pm: Battle 23 other planeswalkers in a casual draft tournament
3 pm: Receive a 4th, random Strixhaven pack for attending (it's free; the ticket cost just covers the first 3 packs)
3 pm to 5 pm: Revel in victory and enjoy the rest of the event
✧.*
But wait, there's more! We'll also be running a free 8-player Brothers' War draft from 10 am to 2 PM, courtesy of our beloved Sam S, an MTG judge and FaB enjoyer.
This is a free add-on. When you go to select your ticket, make sure you select "MTG Brothers' War draft."
The gist of the Brothers' War draft:
9 am to 10 am: Roll into the town hall to settle in and meet some fellow nerds
10 am to 11 am: Receive 3 packs of Brothers' War play boosters, crack 'em, and build a deck
11 am to 3 pm: Battle 7 other planeswalkers in a casual draft tournament
3 pm: Receive a 4th, random Brothers' War pack for finishing the draft
3 pm to 5 pm: Revel in victory and enjoy the rest of the event
✧.*
But wait, there's EVEN MORE! We'll also be running a 8-player Time Spiral Remastered draft from 10 am to 2 PM, courtesy of our beloved Trent.
This is a paid add-on. When you go to select your ticket, make sure you select "Time Spiral Remastered draft."
The gist of the Time Spiral draft:

⚔️ THE FaB ZONE ⚔️
For all ye Fabbers, we'll be running a FREE Flesh and Blood Win-A-Case event, with the winner walking away with:
1x booster box of Welcome to Rathe (Unlimited)
1x booster box of Arcane Rising (Unlimited)
2x booster boxes of Tales of Aria (1st Edition)
This is a Classic Constructed event, with 5 Swiss rounds followed by a cut to top 4, run at Casual Rules Enforcement Level.
The Win-A-Case event will kick off at 10am sharp, so it's best to be there for 9:30am so you have a minute to settle in.
In addition to the Win-A-Case event, on demand WtR, ARC, and ELE draft events will be offered on the hour every hour from 12pm to 3pm.
There'll also be some volunteers floating around to help newbies learn the game (if that's you, there's no need to bring anything; you can just rock up).
So come on down, enjoy some great games, and get involved in the wonderful community that is Flesh and Blood!
:・゚✧:・゚
💀 THE WARHAMMER ZONE 💀
People will be playing Warhammer: Kill Team casually all day. We'll also have 6 volunteers around to teach you the game if you're a newbie.
If you want to bring a wargame other than Kill Team, that's cool; we expect there'll be some casual 40k, Old World, and Blood Bowl. We cannot, however, guarantee we will have terrain for you, so please bring some. As for tables, it'll be "first in, best dressed."
What you need to bring:
If you've got one, bring your Kill Team. If you have dice and team sheets and cards and all that, please bring that too. If you’re a newbie, you don’t need to bring anything.
✧.*
There will also be a beginner-friendly Kill Team tournament.
This is a paid add-on. When you go to select your ticket, make sure you select "Kill Team tournament."
While this is an official Kill Team tournament, with ITC points up for grab and a prize going to the ultimate victor, the vibe is social-competitive.
We're looking for good times and even better sportsmanship, with a prize going to the best sportsman of them all.
Finally, there'll be a prize for the coolest paint job.
Everyone will play a total of 3 games throughout the day, with a 2-hour max for each game.
The tournament will kick off at 9 AM sharp, so please arrive by 8:45.
After you've got your ticket, make sure you also register via Best Coast Pairings, using this link:
https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/event/F6F32nnulHaI
Please read this tournament's player pack so you know exactly what's going on.
Your TO for the day will be the legendary Tom "I have decided" Hodgson.

🐲 THE D&D AND TTRPG ZONE 🐲
Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or you've never rolled a d20 before, you are most welcome to sign up for some Dungeons & Dragons or another TTRPG.
We'll have 10 volunteer DMs running 10 three-hour one-shot D&D adventures throughout the day.
To join, you will need to book an adventure, which you can do when selecting a ticket on the ticket page. You'll see these options, with a morning and afternoon option for each:
Baker's Doesn't (level 3). After a halfling confectioner's shop is burnt down, the heroes must track down the guilty party. And what have Fill Flourforge and Uncle Nibblecheek got to do with it?
For Whom the Void Calls (level 5). A sentient magical bag sends you a psychic call - it's been stolen by an evil dragon! Send Halp!
The Dragon of Najkir (level 7). You've been hired to search for three survivors of a ship wrecked by dragonfire. Perhaps they're at the Najkir Monastery?
Shivering Death (level 10). A deadly heat wave bakes an unprepared pastoral land. Crops have failed, rivers have run dry, and prospects are grim. While the reason for the unprecedented heat is unclear, the sage Grahlista has uncovered a possible solution. Can the characters recover the ritual to end the ice from the tattoos inscribed on a frost giant's corpse in Challidax the white Dragon's lair?
Dragons of the Sandstone City (level 12). In the ruined subterranean city of Haskasoir, the blue dragon Anthradusk prepares for a nefarious ritual. Luckily the dragon he slew, Haskasori, left a key to defeating Anthradusk - it needs some powerful heroes to make use of it.
There'll also be 1.5-hour adventures for WALK-INS running every half an hour. You can express your interest by getting a ticket, but you can't actually book anything in. It's very much "first in, best dressed."
You can book multiple adventures. Just make sure they aren't on at the same time.
If you want to play in the same game as your friends, please make sure you get tickets to the same adventure, at the same table, at the same timeslot.
✧.*
More adventures:
Our friend Hayden will be running two games of Ashen Expanse (D&D compatible). This is an Australian-themed setting — a scorched, post-apocalyptic wasteland where tradition fights raw power with tooth, claw, and jury-rigged spirit-tech. Kangaroo wardens enforce ancient law with leaping fury, Croco temple-keepers guard dwindling waterholes with cold-blooded zeal, spore-winged fey ride the psychic winds, and everyone hunts (or hides from) megafauna that treat metal hulls like tinned food. And yes… the Drop Bears are very real here.
Our friend Anthony will be running Hungry as the Void, a Traveller RPG Adventure in the Shattered System. A drifting starliner. Hundreds of souls aboard. A storm of debris and radiation. When the Southwind’s emergency beacon erupts, every salvage ship in the Shattered system knows what it means: the race has begun. Under Imperial salvage law the first ship to reach the wreck earns the right to save it… or claim it.
✧.*
What you need to bring:
For D&D, if you want to play a custom character, please bring an appropriately levelled character sheet from D&D 5.5e (2024). To keep things simple, please stick to official content (no homebrews). If you're happy to play a pre-generated character, we can supply one.
For every other TTRPG, we have everything you need. You will not need to make a custom character.
We have dice, but you are of course welcome to bring your own.
:・゚✧:・゚
Please note: If we get super busy, we'll set time limits for board games, casual MTG games, and Kill Team games. That way, if you have to wait a little while to join in, you'll at least know how long you'll have to wait.

The prize draw
The 3 prize packs are worth ~$200 each, and we'll announce one winner at 12 PM, one at 2 PM, and one at 4 PM on the day. Expect nerdy tabletop gaming stuff, like board games, Magic cards, Kill Team teams, and dice.
Your name will go into the prize draw when you get a ticket to Re-Roll For It here on Humanitix (the ticket type doesn't matter). This is the only way to enter the prize draw.
If you aren’t there when your name is called, we’ll draw another name from the hat and you'll unfortunately miss out.

Who's hosting this?

We’re Tabletop Freo, a community for tabletop gaming in (you guessed it) Fremantle, and we're definitely not a cult. We're joining forces with the City of Fremantle to make this event happen.

Everyone. This is an all ages event for everyone.
Will there be food and drinks?
Nope, to keep things simple, we are not selling anything edible or drinkable. However, there are a billion vendors at which you can acquire sustenance just outside the hall, and you can eat and drink inside the hall. But maybe don't order tacos or a laksa, ya feel?
Will there be water?
Water won't be supplied at the event, but you can fill up a water bottle at the fountain in Walyalup Koort or the one in Fremantle Library.
What amenities are there?
The Town Hall has bathrooms with toilets, accessible toilets, and changing places. So does Fremantle Library.
How do I get to the Town Hall?
If you're taking the train, it's about 500m (a 7-ish-minute walk) from Fremantle Station.
How accessible is the Town Hall?
The entire event will run on the ground floor. There are bathrooms with accessible toilets and changing places. There is ACROD parking just outside the hall, too. Here's an accessibility map for Freo.
Photos
Photos will be taken at the event and used for TTF and the City of Fremantle's marketing and media channels during and after the event. Please make an event coordinator aware if you do not want your photo taken.
