From a childhood spent obsessing over Yamaha keyboard presets to becoming a defining force in the global electronic scene, the Eora/Sydney-based producer and DJ has built a sound that bridges Australian bounce & melody with the deeper sounds of the UK underground.

2025 marked a transformative year for Charlie, headlined by the massive success of ‘HITZ 4 THE HOOD’, which dominated the #1 spot on Beatport’s UKG chart for several weeks and pushed him past 3 million Spotify streams. His momentum has only accelerated into 2026, with further releases on No Instruction, Sweat It Out & Gorgon City’s REALM Records.

Charlie’s versatility has earned support from names including Interplanetary Criminal, KETTAMA, Gorgon City & Faster Horses, while his productions have received extensive play across BBC Radio 1, triple j, KISS FM and Rinse FM.

On the touring front, Charlie has continued to make his mark, following a landmark Australian and New Zealand tour in late 2025 with main support slots for Interplanetary Criminal and Silva Bumpa, alongside his own ‘Charlie Shell & Friends’ shows, which sold out in both Sydney and Melbourne.
