Join us for the first of four sessions in our great new series showcasing local readers and writers with a focus on social issues.Â
Margaret Calder will introduce the topic and talk about many books she has read in the first session ‘Books in My Life’.
Margaret reads widely and over the years has been a member of three book clubs, the first started with a friend when they were 25 and Margaret was lecturing in Geography at Adelaide Teacher’s College. She retired from teaching at Flinders University in the School of Education in 2000. Margaret is a member of the Management Committee of the ELC and convenes the Social Issues Task Group.
