WHY?

As teachers we can struggle with helping young writers to develop their knowledge and expertise of the writing process through meaningful writing
We want to do less 'one off' activities that do little to empower them
We struggle to differentiate for our young writers so that they all have an entry point for their writing
We need someone more expert to guide us in the best approaches and resources possible
We often don't have high quality literature on hand for students to be inspired by, and from which they can develop their own writing
We find it hard to use the curriculum in effective ways that connect with our students

Sharon going through the process as if you were a student in her class, so that you can actually experience what it is, and thereby consider how you can implement and adjust it
Also taking you through the practicalities: how to get started, how to fit it all in, how to keep track of learning
Showing how to use Quick Writes in new powerful ways
Showing how to cover the curriculum in easy to understand ways
Showing how the Reading Like a Writer framework supports writers across all aspects of writing for all text types, across ages
