Join us at Gloria's Wine this Book Week (August 22 - August 28) for our first ever dining edition: a cosy evening of books, wine and pasta in one of Camberwell's beloved neigbourhood spots.

Settle in with a glass wine and your current read for an hour of uninterrupted reading time. Then, when the books close, dinner arrives. Wholesome? Yes. A little bit lush? Also yes.

This is not a book club. There are no assigned chapters, no homework, no judgements about what you should be reading. Just you, your book (or e-reader) and the joy of making time to read while being around other people doing the same thing. It's time to read more, meet new friends, and get off your phone for an evening equal parts wholesome and fun.

Your ticket includes:

A glass of wine, beer or non alcoholic beverage
Pasta
Focaccia
Side salad
An hour of silent, uninterrupted reading time in a cosy wine bar.

How it works:

It's simple. Bring a book of your choice. Settle in and read. Once reading time is over, we'll close our books and make some new friends (if you want) over dinner.

About the venue:

Gloria's wine is a beloved neighbourhood wine bar; cosy decor, great vibes and very good at wine and pasta. We'll be reading in Gloria's charming courtyard, tucked away from main restaurant and made for settling in with a good book before dinner and a little post reading conversation.
