So you've booked your first presentation and feel like a complete imposter. Now what?

Part 2 of a 2-part series, Ready Set Present: Delivering a Workshop from Preparation to Meeting Management will focus on being prepared for your workshop and beating the imposter syndrome. Attendees will learn best practices for day-of preparation, managing talking while doing, tips on encouraging audience participation, maintaining decorum when things go wrong, interacting with and managing difficult audience members, tips on successful Q and A's, and most importantly, how to manage and be respectful of your audience's time.

There will be practice time to explore these concepts with fellow attendees. This workshop is geared to new and beginner presenters who have either never presented before or have limited experience presenting in different formats. Attendees are encouraged to interact via chat and audio during the hands-on practice time.An unrecorded discussion portion will be held following the main presentation.

This presentation series is provided by author Cecilia T. Winters as a gift to the community, sharing skills she has learned in the Toastmasters International organization that have most benefitted her in presenting workshops to adults.

✦ About the Educator ✦

Cecilia T. Winters (CTW, she/her) is your typical queer Millennial. Born at the start of the internet age, she has always benefited from information at her fingertips. She identifies as bisexual and ethically non-monogamous. She has presented on kink topics all around the US and online, and is a member of the professional communications and leadership organization, Toastmasters International, where she learned to present to adult audiences. Her non-kink interests include reading, making lists, watching early 2000s crime dramas, and learning about ancient human cultures.
