Ready to RISE is back!
Ever thought about starting a social enterprise, but weren’t sure where to begin?
Ready to RISE (Readiness and Incubation for the Social Economy) is a free training programme designed to support women and non-binary people across Scotland to learn about social enterprise and discover their potential to use entrepreneurship to make a living, work flexibly, and positively impact their communities.
At the info sessions, you’ll find out more about the 8-week online programme (Wednesdays, 10am-12.30pm, starting September/October). The training is designed to help you build confidence, develop your skills, and explore your ideas. It covers creating a work/life blend that suits you, managing yourself and others, building your network, and includes an ideation session plus practical guidance on starting a social enterprise.
This is a free training programme, with the potential opportunity to access up to £1,000 in grant funding to help you take your idea forward.
This information session will feature social entrepreneur Trudi Donahue – Founder and CEO of Wild & Kind.
Wild & Kind CIC is a community co-working space and based in Bridgeton, Glasgow where creatives and social entrepreneurs can connect, collaborate and build a supportive community.
They also offer a range of practical business support services, such as consultancy, virtual assistance and operational efficiency support, so founders can access the tools they need in one place.
This is a free training programme, with the potential opportunity to access Firstport’s Pipeline Fund to help you take your idea forward.
