Real Deal Geelong Alliance Members meeting - Discerning our policy solutions together

Democracy comes alive when we participate in it and there couldn't be a more important time than now.

This invitation is open to staff, members, volunteers and Board or Committee members of our participating Real Deal Geelong Alliance organisations. We need to come together!

We are inviting Members of the Real Deal Geelong Alliance organisations to attend a “Discernment” meeting.

“Discernment” means to “judge wisely” our collective priorities.

We want to add to the policy wins we have already achieved for our community in better public transport to Avalon, better access to social housing and care and household energy upgrades.

Members from across our Alliance have been busy reviewing and updating policy solutions and we are keen to share these with you! We have been refining our policy solutions which address the following needs in our community:

1. a) Secure Housing

2. b) Meaningful Work and the Cost of Living

3. c) Care and Connection

Help us to prioritise the solutions we will campaign and act on together over the next few years and hear how we will collaborate with a newly forming western Melbourne Alliance to build our power together at our next large Alliance Forum in September 2026.

We also want to share with you exciting news regarding the next stages in the evolution of Real Deal Geelong Alliance. Get involved!
