Your Presenters

Tanya Forster, Ceo & Psychologist, Macquarie Health Collective

Tanya Forster is a well-known regional Psychologist who, feeling frustrated with the health services available in Regional NSW, decided to break the mould and establish Macquarie Health Collective, an innovative and collaborative health care practice in Regional NSW. Tanya is a Central West local and a farmer’s wife, raising a family on the land. Tanya knows and understands both the joys and challenges of regional living, and so she established a practice that meets the healthcare needs of her community. Tanya has worked as a Psychologist in the Central West for over 15 years, supporting local children and families. Tanya also teaches at the University of Sydney School of Rural Health.

Jill Hely, Psychologist, Flow Psychology

Jill is a psychologist working from her busy private practice Flow Psychology Counselling & Wellbeing, which she opened with her business bestie in the midst of the pandemic. Jill has dedicated her career as a psychologist to finding the best ways she can to help people recover from chronic and traumatic stress and has been privileged to support thousands of people in their recovery journey over the last decade. Based on Gumbaynggirr land in beautiful beachside Sawtell NSW, Jill loves nothing better than to spend time at the beach with her family and two dogs. She has three children, who are now fabulous young adults. Jill has learnt from personal experience the importance of a balanced approach to selfcare in managing the risk of burnout and has recently authored her first self-help book Happiness Habits. In her dreams, she is spending less time working and more time travelling the world.
