Shambala Retreat, Osmington Road

Jen Stuart and Luke Smith invite you to REALIGN. An invitation to transition from a state of do-ing into a state of be-ing. Come into communication with your inner landscape in a safe and held space. This 4 hour journey will allow us to connect through a slow flow Yoga practice and Biodynamic Breathwork.

Jen and Luke are here to guide, support and empower you. Inviting you to tap into your intuitive rhythm and using proven self regulation techniques to realign the whole of our system.

Jen will guide us through a slow flow yoga practice - connecting with your physical body, encouraging choice, curiosity and trust. Through the yoga practice, Jen will share rhythms and variations to meet you in that moment, ensuring you are prepared and fully open to embark on your breathwork journey.

Luke will guide us on a biodynamic breathwork journey. Utilising the 6 elements of Biodynamic Breathwork - breath, touch, movement, emotions,  sound and meditation - we will work through tension in the body to come back into a state of presence and openness.

No expectation, simply exploration.

This is a 4hr experiential workshop where we will have the opportunity to meet what no longer serves us, what we have been carrying around too long and create a safe place to release, realign and integrate into daily living.

Our physical body is a beautiful map that we have so often become further disconnected from. We are connected and through working with predominantly these 2 layers of us (physical body - annamaya kosha and breath body - pranamaya kosha) we can bring awareness and love to what is happening from within.

We will listen to the emotions, we will listen to the inner wisdom, we will be held in love.

When we find ourselves feeling overwhelmed, anxious, angry, depressed, exhausted, in chronic pain, suffering from allergies, our rhythms being out of sync, numb to sensations – these can be signs that there is a body-mind disconnection.

Through learning the language of the body, we can release emotional traumas from a physical body in a gentle and nurturing way.

The body remembers what our minds may not.

Working with our physical body, moment to moment.

During this 4hr experiential workshop you can expect:

  • A safe, sacred space to explore all parts of yourself
  • Body movement and awareness exercises to illuminate long-held muscle tension and suppressed emotion
  • Delicious vegan treats to keep your energy levels high
  • Strengthening the connection and presence with your body
  • Therapeutic bodywork and touch, a key element in releasing muscle tension and suppressed emotion
  • Gentle and loving facilitation to guide your journey
  • Deep relaxation and stillness

What to bring:

  • Yourself! Come with an open mind and curiosity to explore
  • Loose fitting comfortable clothes, something you can move and sweat in
  • A water bottle
  • A journal and a pen
  • Anything else you feel may support you

Who are we:

Jen is originally from London and after years of travelling and sharing a private practice of body based trauma therapy through Thailand and The Phillipines she is now living in WA for the past 5 years with her partner and little girl. Jen has a background in body based trauma therapy, fine arts and Classical Hatha Yoga. Now sharing evidence based practices including; Yoga, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, TRE, breathwork and self regulation.

Luke is a down to earth, home body, who's usually found pottering around the garden or chilling at the beach! Always down for the deep chats and heart felt connections, Luke is on a mission to support people to break through their own limitations. A former Mechanical Engineer, it was quickly obvious that he wasn’t meant to work in the corporate world for long. Always being interested in health and personal development it took a strong and loving nudge from his partner to open his mind and dive into the depths of his soul. This path eventually led to Biodynamic Breathwork and many breakthrough experiences, which he now takes great joy in sharing with others.
